My fiance and I bought a PS4 controller yes so she could play fortnite on the PC (she comes from playing PS4). For some reason the controller won't connect to the PC. I did have it connected once, but it wasn't showing up on Fortnite. I have an Xbox controller and hooked it up to her PC and it worked fine and she could play fortnite with it.
I use the map button in the middle of the controller. 5 yr. ago. Right paddle edit, L1 select edit, R1 confirm edit. Since you have edit on left paddle try L1 confirm edit and R1 select edit. X and Y is 0.75. ADS sens is 0.50. building sens is 1.37. for console fortnite settings you can follow pro console players settings . That’s definitely a high sens ghost rider. I love high sensitivity, You can do things much more like you were on mouse and keyboard. Obviously you cant do all, but a decent amount:)
1a) Update Windows (of course). 1b) Update your network drivers. (search Device Manager > Go to Network Adapter > right-click and choose Update Driver > Select Choose Online for Driver). 2) Reboot Router (Do not press reset button so you avoid factory reset). Leave power off for a good 2 minutes or so.

Ever since the phone controls got changed, creative forces my pickaxe button to "Y" even though it's D-Pad in the settings and in BR. Since it overlaps my build binds, it's impossible to pull out the builds (unless using PC binds or remapping controller) EPIC COMMENT
Id recommend you keep build an edit sense the same. eg if you do 1.9 for build u do 1.9 for edit. Find a sense you like within that range and then stick to it. So you can become consistent. No boost , no look dampening because it will just make editing and building harder to master. Your deadzones can be between like 5-15.
My binds on those slots usually go in an order. My primary weapon is assigned on 1 (Pistols, SMGs), Slot 2 (Ranged weapons, AR and Snipers), 3rd slot (Shotguns) and the 4th and 5th slots are either event items, heals or for rotation purposes (Hammers, jump pads, etc) Honestly, once you get used to a layout, it'll feel automatic during fights
1. This happened to me once when I was playing in the top 3, i couldn’t build after an edit and I got Shot down to 1hp then he rushed and I died. 1. Same problem I thought I was just rusty from not playing for couple days. Guess it’s a bug or a “feature”.
No build is definitely easier, though if you get out of position anyone will die. No builds is way easier, if you have a background in playing shooters no builds will just come naturally, if you learn to build I think builds fan be much more fun but I neither have the time or the patience for it. No build is easier.
xXRyanXxa. Dwrecked has a video on the best controller bindings, it was quite recent so it shouldn't be hard to find. Trust me he is the best at this. Turn sprint by default on. L3 as edit (auto sprint to any dpad arrow) so all you need to do is click your left analogue stick without taking your thumbs off in any stick.

Nowadays mouse sensors are a lot more advanced. Regardless people have been taking their 800 DPI settings (e.g. 7%), double DPI and halving sens (3.5%) and having good results. Also giving ~8-9 for sense% and either 400 to 800 is a massive range. 800 dpi 8% is equivalent to 16% at 400dpi zengodhelp.
Controller issue on fortnite pc. I play fortnite on pc with a controller, and since about Aug. 18, my controller can't confirm anything in the lobby. the settings are all the same as normal, but in game some controls have a second random thing they do, like if I sprint it brings up a keyboard on screen. and my look sensitivity is beyond maxed
Switch lobbies I can usually run Duo Squads with my friend and get 5-6 kills every game as nobody builds and they just stand there, but the lag and FPS is so bad I usually will run into the occasional switch or mobile sweat that can build and kill me.
